Research Of DSP Power Line Modem Based On OFDM

With the development of network and multimedia technologies, how to achieve high-speed Internet access and multimedia transmission using power lines is the current hot topic research. Many foreign countries have made great progress in relevant research and application field. This paper presents a study of the history and current situation of PLC at home and abroad,reaserchs the principles and key technology of OFDM, and explores the advantages and disadvantages of its application in PLC. The paper emphases on the reaserch of channel estimation algorithms of OFDM system, and simulates it using MATLAB. According to the simulation results, it analyzes the performance of the channel estimation algorithms. The paper also gives the transmission program of the broadband power line modem based on OFDM, establishs the hardware and the software structures of the broadband power line modem system, realizes the main algorithms of the software structure, and simulates them using CCS.
