The Development Of China's Blind Date Shows And Its Social Significance

Blind date shows has become one of the top-rated TV entertainment reality shows that mostly depend on site mutual-choice of boys and girls over the last two decades in China. Some of them left with their desirable partners and some did not. The TV show was a hit and discussion with broad audience, and meanwhile they have also generated attention, concerns of experts and scholars, and brought widespread influences.A comprehensive analysis of TV hit shows is conducted in this paper, through discussing its background, causes for being so popular, and social significance, describing its development context of the recent three decades, and comparative studying of different TV hit shows of the same period. Some problems exist in the current stage are pointed out, meanwhile the improvement methods and suggestions are popped up. At the end of this paper, the prospect of TV hit shows is analyzed and considered.
