With rapid development, since 70s of 20 century, high-power pulse power supply is used largely in scientific research, national defense, industry treating, medical treatment and so on. Which have important strategy meaning to national economy. The technology of charging control of high-power pulse power supply is the core technology of high-power pulse power supply. At present, fixed parameter common PI charging controller is used in China commonly, which has the advantage is that is simple and stable, but the weakness is that the parameter can not change following the system working state, which affect the output performance ,the life span of switch parts and increase the cost of system operation. Aim at the fixed parameter PI charging controller weakness and this thesis proposes a kind of variable parameter PI charging controller solution and focuses on specific hardware design and software design. At last we setup a simulation mode and simulation result shows that our algorithm is better than the fixed parameter common PI charging controller and the output character is less affected by variable system working state. The system operation working character is better.This thesis design focuses on the algorithm of PI charging controller for charging process whose parameter automatically adjusts based on fuzzy control rules and collects feedback current signal and then set fuzzy mode and is judged by fuzzy controller, then output new Kp and Ki parameter to PI charging controller to adjust the PWM modulation parameter. As for hardware design, TI DSP TMS320F28335-EP is the high precision float point DSP chip fulfills the calculation task of charging control algorithm and then sends out PWM wave to control the whole charging process. Considered the trend of huge energy network, this thesis designs a 100M network interface, which meets the trend of huge energy network. The charging controller hardware manly includes protection circuit, main control chip, power unit, signal collection unit, communication unit. The main function of protection circuit is the protection of mother line avoiding over-current and overvoltage. Once over-current or over-voltage, the main circuit would break and the charging circuit would stop working. The charging controller software mainly includes controller algorithm program, signal collection program, data process program. The main function of controller algorithm program is generating new parameter of PI charging controller following the real system working state based on fuzzy controller to exchange the parameter of PI charging controller.
