| This paper historically reviewed the formation and evolution process of Soviet Union News system, analyzing from three stages: the News ideas from Leni, Stalin-style News system and the News system reformation from Gorbachev. The first three chapters summarized and discoursed the strategic position '' Party spirit principle", from the Proletariat Party newspaper before October Revolution as well as the unique understanding on news freedom. During Stalin's time, the institutionalized news system took news as political tool function. In the Post-Stalin Era, Successive governments of the Soviet Union took the condensational authoritarian policies of the news system which lead to rigid news system and potential social crisis. The reform of the news system from Gorbachev took the news media into the anti-Party and anti-socialist dead end. At the end, in the fourth chapter, this paper concluded some inspiration lessons from the development, evolution and reform of Soviet News system. Article presents that press freedom should be the essential attribute of socialist journalism. Party and the government should encourage the diversity of news and freedom of speech. However, there is no uniform standard of press freedom. Each country should take gradual reform and policy implementation according to their own national conditions and culture traditions. Reform can not be accomplished overnight; otherwise it will shake the foundation of the State and cause the irreparable damage to people and society. |
