| With the rapid development of semantic web, various semantic web applications urgently need large-scale, unified semantic knowledge base to support. However, there exist problems for building this knowledge base in both theory and practice, and it has become a bottleneck to restrict further development of the semantic web.Semantic wiki provides a new approach to build large-scale, unified semantic knowledge base. Through requirements analysis of the distributed ontology based semantic wiki, designed and implemented a semantic wiki platform. The platform is divided into three layers, including distributed ontology management, business logic layer, and application performance layer. In distributed ontology management layer, through the built-in management module, semantic web knowledge base achieved self-maintenance and optimization using of technology of ontology reasoning, ontology view extraction and ontology segmentation. Distributed ontology was encapsulated through knowledge bus mechanism, providing a unified interface of knowledge base, so as to provide knowledge storage and query services to the upper application of semantic web. In the business logic layer, through mapping the wiki entries and ontology resources, the operations of wiki and ontology corresponded to complete integrated management of wiki pages, ontology, and ontology resources. In the application performance layer, by combining the entry information display and the semantic information extraction a friendly interface was provided to building ontology knowledge base.In summary, the research on distributed ontology based semantic wiki platform and key technology provides a new way of thinking for building large-scale ontology knowledge base, but also provides knowledge base service platform for other applications in the semantic web. This not only improved the scope and quality of semantic web knowledge base, but also is more conducive to promoting the development of semantic web applications. |
