The Platform Design Of Network Video Monitoring System Based On Embedded Technology

With the increasing social demand, such as "peaceful city" project, the promotion of the Olympic Games and the world expo and technological progress and a decline in the cost of the video monitor market, video monitoring is rapidly developing in China, and video monitoring technique has become the mainstream. Our video monitoring market is developing towards personalization, networking and intellectualization. This thesis aims to study on key technologies of network video monitoring system, including the USB camera driving technology, video collection technology and streaming media transmission technology.This paper introduces the development and current situation of the embedded technology, and demonstrate the ARM microprocessor centered network video monitoring system design scheme, on the basis of network video monitoring system overall analysis . After introducing the embedded system and several mainstream embedded operating systems, embedded Linux is chosen as platform of software development, and then explain the methods of establishing embedded Linux software development environment.This paper introduces the contents of Linux device driver program, and points out its main function.
