To software develop project, RE (Requirement Engineering) is primary stage of SE (Software Engineering) and the foundation of software development. The research of SE attaches much weight to RE along with software application fields extended and software project scope enlarged.RE includes RD (Requirement Development) and RM (Requirement Management). The objects of RM are just about the deliverables of RD. Excellent RM ensures better progress in RD. RM and RD is inextricable linked and has a direct impact on success or failure of the software project.Since the information-based 21st century, the great masses of enterprises in our country are fully aware of the chance by the e-business. These enterprises all have began their e-business strategic planning and are preparing to construct or establish e-business project. Because of e-business project's RD continue to use the method of the common software project's RD, many enterprises will meet can't acquiring the complete requirement, requirement analysis being ambiguity, requirement change being out of control the project's time limit delay and costs increased, the project would be even failure. So, selecting an appropriate RD's model on which RM based have been the problems that an e-business project has to meet and solve. The thesis presents a requirement modeling approach based on Prototyping Method, from the objects of RM, and contrasting the procedure-oriented structured analysis method with the object-oriented analysis method. And the thesis intensive study and explain RM's method driven by Prototyping Method combining the requirement's characteristic features and the current problems facing of the e-business project. Finally, the thesis illustrates that Prototyping Method drive RM's progress of an enterprise e-business project by an example.
