With the development of science and technology, the military field has come to new circumstances, new features, such as the wide use of military equipment information, the improving of target mobility and the enhanced of weapons of mass destruction, some tasks operator increased risk. The factors that wireless sensor networks can be deployed quickly, self-organizing, intense concealment and high fault-tolerance, are very suitable for applications in military field. Therefore the design and implementation of military reconnaissance system based on wireless sensor network has great practical value and important academic value.The article analyzes the network protocol should applicable for the special application background of the battlefield, based on wireless sensor network applications in military reconnaissance. Firstly analyzing the deployment and the functional requirement of the sensor nodes in the battlefield , and then in the original MAC protocols and time synchronization protocol based on the battlefield environment monitoring, designing for the MAC protocols-CSMA/CA agreement and time synchronization protocol-FTSP agreement. Finally the paper show us the simulation platform-OMNeT++, and write to node using it. Then forming the whole network, and showing the results of the entire network.The routing protocol design is the core content in this paper. Through the analysis of the typical LEACH agreement, improving it and designing the more energy-efficient jump routing protocol. We show the analysis result in visualization tool, Plove and Scalar, after using the simulation software OMNeT++ carries on the analysis. Finally based on complex battlefield environment monitoring which need different types of sensor nodes, we design the data fusion scheme that can distinguish different kinds of information. We introduce the type of code in order to improve the traditional data fusion scheme for energy and risks, which process the data redundant in the cluster nodes. Through the type of code design is not only achieving in the data fusion before the node sending the information to the cluster node, greatly reducing the amount of packet transmission, but also to obtain actual data and information through the type of code, improving the network security. The improvement of routing protocols and data fusion scheme is very suitable for applications in large-scale sensor network of military reconnaissance, and satisfying the system of energy-saving and safety requirements. Final we summarize for the paper work, and analyze the shortcomings of the system design and the problems.
