| Wireless sensor network, which is made by the convergence of sensor, embedded computing,distributed information processing and wireless communication technologies. Wireless Sensor Network has comprehensive application prospect in many fields such as military, environmental monitoring, health care, the intelligent domestic appliance, space exploration etc.Limited by the environments, wireless sensor networks which use wireless communication technology are different from traditional networks because the battery used cannot be recharged. Thus, the efficient energy use is becoming focus of study for wireless sensor network.This paper focus on the router protocol of wireless sensor network. The approach to reducing the energy consumption is both the improvement of the LEACH protocol and adding a kind of data fusion algorithm to the LEACH protocol.Firstly, on the research of the LEACH protocol, the clustering algorithm defect, lack of multi-hop between cluster head and data fusion algorithm are pointed out.Secondly, the PSO algorithm is used to optimize the selection of cluster heads and keep the constant number of cluster heads; The Dijkstra algorithm is introduced to the muit-hop the muit-hop route for the cluster head sending data to the base station. Simulation by MATLAB shows that the improved protocol has balanced the system energy consumption and has better performance of prolonging the network lifetime than LEACH protocol.Thirdly, by comparing the various sort of data fusion technology, we adopted a optimal weight method and fuzzy logic method for multi-sensor data fusion with an example and the analysis of its performance theoretically.Finally, we use the hardware of wireless sensor nodes to build up a clustering-based network in a specific backgoumd with the data fusion method introduced above.The system running result shows the efficiency of the method in prolonging the WSN life span.Tong Mu(Communication and Information System)Supervised by Tang Minghao... |
