Design And Implementation Of Rolling Bearing Knowledge Base System

The knowledge base is the basis of the expert system and intelligent system, so building the rolling bearing knowledge base system is beneficial to design conveniently, fast and intelligently. it can be used as an important platform to provide a strong support for intelligent design and implementation of expert system. Which is beneficial to improve the whole level of bearing industry.In this paper, some relevant concepts (such as knowledge, information management and knowledge management) were analyzed, the development and function structure of knowledge base system were researched. The concept of "knowledge base system" was introduced into rolling bearings industry, so that more technical staff can enjoy standard information resources fast and conveniently, improve efficiency and quality of rolling bearing design, share knowledge and application and it can provide intellectual support and guarantees for the intelligent design and expert systems of rolling bearing which can promote information construction of bearing industry better. In this paper, the booming computer technology and artificial intelligence knowledge base system technology for rolling bearings is studied.According to characteristics of bearing knowledge, knowledge acquisition, knowledge representation, knowledge base management and other key technology were researched, the object-oriented methods were used to design the program of knowledge base, a whole frame of knowledge base system of bearing was set up through using system analysis and system design method. The booming computer technology and artificial intelligence were used in the study of bearing knowledge base system The whole system includes basic knowledge of Rolling, the basic performance of bearing size, bearing code control, clearance information, Selection and check of rolling bearings, tolerance and cooperation, knowledge management, and rights management. In the system implementation phase, knowledge-base system is developed using Delphi as tools, SQL Server2000 as database software and ADO data-processing technology as a database connection with the function module.at last by comparing the structure of present systems and the relevant database technologies.The meaning of this research lies in establishment of core knowledge-base of bearing and some basic system modules were developed. These works had laid solid foundation for information construction of bearing industry and initially achieved sharing knowledge, intelligent design and implementation based-on expert system.The system designed and developed in this paper has high-efficient, stable practical and flexible features. it also be taken as a tool of design and query.As a platform, it can provide a strong support for intelligent design and implementation of expert system.
