Research On The Problems Of Network Public Sphere

The theory of dialogue combining monologue concept and Hannah Arendt's theory of public sphere is refered in this paper to research the problems of public sphere in the network construction process. In our country, the network as an emerging media, its hardware conditions and online population is developing rapidly. Some of the features such as diversity of communications way, participating subject characteristics, counter-centralization, fit the conditions of the public sphere construction. In China's horizon, the reasonable construction of network public sphere is of great important for socialist political civilization development and the construction of socialist harmonious society.After the explains of dialogue theory and Hannah Arendt's theory of public sphere, combined with the relationship of these two theories. In this paper, the theory of Hannah Arendt is divided into three dimensions which are subject construction, space construction and language construction. Meanwhile, the dialogue theory and its monologue concept are also divided into three dimensions: monologue subject, monologue space. Basing on these two theories, the problems are reflected in the following three aspects:Firstly, from angle of subject construction, network communication is in the plight between the Internet users. As the network's own characteristic, users'psychological characteristics and other reasons, the communication in the network is in a predicament, this predicament is largely the result of the monologue. The predicament generated enormous influence on net users'behavior. From the perspective of Hannah Arendt, the predicament strengthens the net users'behavior of "unforeseen" and "irreversible ", so negative effects are generated to the constructions of public sphere.Secondly, from the angle of space construction, there is a problem that the bound of public sphere and the private sector is vague, and tends to be fusion. Although in the theory of Arendt these two sectors are strictly distinguished, this problem is suppose to dialectically analysis, the fusion of these two sectors still have some positive significance. And monologue space plays a key role in the process of the fusion of two sectors. Thirdly, from the angle of language construction, in the process of network construction of public sphere, network language needs both creative and normative, but normative and creative itself is a pair of contradictory. So creative and normative is a paradox. Monologue plays an important role in language construction in which the paradox brings risks.As the problem of construction of network public sphere is the result of the overall view of monologue, so as the there questions above of the construction of network public, this paper advocates that the overall view of macro "spirit of dialogue", and establishment of micro Dialogue mechanism are significance to solve the problem.
