Research Of Acoustic Array Localization Technology

Acoustic array locating technology is widely applied in fields like aviation, range test and submarine biological detection. Following the appearance of modern digital signal processing, artificial neural network, fuzzy technique, fiber optics, infrared technique, micro-electronic technique, computer technology and artificial intelligence, adaptive signal processing, array technology and other relevant techniques, the acoustic array locating technology has been strongly support, and further applied.This article introduces the structure diagram and the operating principle of acoustic simulation system of acoustic array localization technology, as well as the functions realized by each module. A signal pre-processing technique based on improved HHT are introduced in acoustic array locating technology after analyzing the characters of non-stable signal. Aiming at the problem for the uncertain of sensors position in real environment, a self-localization technology is used for localization of sensors position after signal pre-processing. According to the sensors position from self-localization, the object can be localizations precisely through the time delay of each sensor which can be get by simplified Affine Projection Algorithm time delay estimating method.It is indicated for experiment results and error analysis that real time object localization can be realized by sensors self-localization technology. The localization precision can be achieved through dynamic calibration of sensor clusters and signal pre-processing based on improved HHT. This technology can localize all kinds of sound source including explosion.
