As the problems of energy and environment are more and more severe, the developmentof new energy has become an inevitable trend of historical development. The advantages ofsolar energy are rich, clean and renewable, which make it become the front runner in thedevelopment of new energy. With the improvement of automation, Automatic GuidedVehicles(AGV)are being used more and more widely. The applications of AGV take theplace of the traditional artificially handling, which liberates the labor productivity. Based onthe second photoelectric design competition of national college students as the background,this paper designs photoelectric navigation handling car based on solar energy. Solar panelused to convert solar energy into electrical energy as the car's power supply, the car has thefunction of automatic identification lines and fast handling things.According to the different function of parts of the system, this paper divides the wholesystem into six big modules: core control module, dc motor control module, steering gearcontrol module, path recognition module, speed detection module and power managementmodule. The core control module uses S3C2440 as the microprocessor chip.Systematic software design includes the writing of device drivers and the design ofapplication program. IO,PWM and so on device drivers are writed. For the design ofapplication program, through the USB webcam pavement information is acquired and therelated parameters of guide line are obtained after image processing of pavement information,then the intelligence algorithm are applied to control steering and speed of the small car,which make the small car track the guild line accurately and rapidly.The steering and speed ofthe small car are controlled respectively by the fuzzy control and fuzzy PID control algorithm which are simulated through matlab software. Simulation results show that the fuzzy controlalgorithm can effectively improve the stability of the object which is controlled, and fuzzyPID control algorithm is able to enhance the robustness and precision of the control.
