The development of modern information technology drived the development and application of smart card technology, many in the field of industry development are closely related with smart card technology, such as telecom, finance, social insurance, refueling,medical and so on. Anyhow, smart card technology bring a revolution to people life style, it is bound to become an indispensable tool of life in the future.However, its security problems also brought some inconvenience to our life.So,how to ensure that the security is not disturbed with a illegal way when people are using a smartcard.We need to consider the question that how to let smartcard become the most convenient and safety tool in our living,make sure the security.Therefore, we should give more attention to technology of smart card.Chip operation system COS is the most importmant part of smart card technology, and the security module of COS insure the whole COS runs normally.The purpose of this paper is to study the security module of COS and built its security architecture, then the architecture use effectively to the system of RF-SIM card, and verify the effectiveness of its safety, realize the "one multi-purpose card"system.In the first, this thesis expatiates the researching background, project background and significance of the topic,etc.Introduce the security architecture,expound the security strategy, analyze and compare the characteristics between the Distributed Security Framework and Common Data Security Architecture and PPDR security structure and the Open System Interconnection reference model. Illustrate the security structure of COS, composition modules and working principle, analyse the security features of smart card. Based on the above,make a discussion about the construction target and principles of the COS security architecture,summarize the construction process for the architecture; According to the characteristics of chip hardware and the operation mechanism of smartcard security, built the security architecture for COS, and make a description and analysis about the security architecture,especially,analyze the related security technology in detail,including the authentication technology,security message transmission and design, key management, users identify, file access control and multi-application management,etc. At last, based on the research of RF-SIM card, design the security structure of RF-SIM, achieve SIM communications security structure and RF micropayment, and realize a multi-purpose card system by simulation.Topics in this thesis are based on a horizontal project, which is cooperated with China Telecom.Ltd, has designed and realized the SIM card,R-UIM card and EVDO card, including the hardware driver, file module,command module,security module. At the later stage, also design and develop the RF-SIM card COS for multi-purpose. Meanwhile, series of assistant test tools are developed, it test that the RF-SIM COS is very feasibility by simulation. This thesis is writing on the basis of the analysis and summary of the project.
