Design And Implement Of Web-based Curriculum And LMS Based On SCORM

With the popularity of the network and raise awareness of people to learn, Web-based learning(E-learning)in recent years has been in the rapid development, and previous LMS had two main issues in common: First, there is no common LMS and network learning Resource standards. Second, learning resources could not be reused in different LMS. And then, the SCORM standards of U.S. ADL (Advanced Distributed Learning)have been developed to regulate online course and Web-based learning management system, to enhance the reusability and sharing of the online course, and domestic researcher in the SCORM's are launched later, the products,books,researches about the SCORM are very few ,the open-source SCORM based LMS is rare . The purpose of this study will be to convert various forms of courseware into a unified package of courseware which is conform to the SCORM standard, and design and development LMS which can play the SCORM standard courseware package , learning management systems and standardization of learning resources So that any SCORM-standard learning programs can be play on the system and the curriculum package implemented according by methods described in this article can be played in any SCORM standard platforms.The main research method is on the basis of careful reading and understanding of ADL organization's SCORM1.2 standard document ( including SCORM₁.2_Overview,SCORM₁.2_CAM,SCORM₁.2_RunTimeEnv ) to package the SCORM courseware. The SCORM courseware package developed according to our methods could Successfully pass the ADL Suit Test's Test, in addition our package can also be run and played in the Moodle LMS and other platform .In addition, our design and development research of SCORM runtime environment reference to the more mature domestic and international standards-based SCORM LMS, the system we develop can import the SCORM1.2 courseware package, track learner learning Process and achieve other functions.Firstly, Our research interpret and analysis SCORM1.2 standard document in detail, then we discuss how to package common courseware into SCORM standards courseware package, In the end our research introduced in detail how to upload SCORM courseware package to LMS and how the LMS track the learning process of learner ,jobs of the research are as follows: upload SCORM courseware package, extract the SCORM package, the analysis of the manifest.xml file, the whole process after the learner launches the SCO Finally, this research could pack,import, analysis, play SCORM courseware and track the learning behavior of the learners.
