Today, the pace of social development is gradually accelerating. Which is also acceleratingthe pace of life, and the life stress also is increasing as well. Combined with the improvementof living standards, changes in work schedules and diet, high blood pressure, heart diseaseand other cardiovascular and cerebrovascula diseases is increasing. it will seriously affect thefuture development of our country,if it can not be controlled effectively. Pulse is an importantphysiological characteristic of the human body, and the pulse signal contains muchphysiological information. But traditional Chinese medicine is too subjective. The pulsediagnosis needs to be objective and scientific, which is a current urgent problem. So peopleput a high value on the acquisition of pulse wave and processing as well as applicationprospect.The system Pulse signal acquisition involves a variety of disciplines and fields of TCMmodernization theory, signal processing, sensor technology, power electronics technology andso on. It has achieved some results after decades of research about pulse signal acquisitionsystem, but there is a great distance to the actual clinical application.It designs a pulse signal acquisition devices using AT89S52as the core in this paper whichresults a goal of collecting data.The pulse signal processing system takes the benefits of theC#and Matlab. The system is not only user-friendly but also powerful in data processing. itachieves a goal of real-time display of pulse signal. The pulse signal is filtered by the using ofmodern techniques. The analysis of time-domain value and the features can be achieved.Finally, the pulse of more than clinical patient data collection, processing and analysis provedthe reliability and application of the system has been proved through.the analysis of pulsesignals from many patients.We study the pulse signal processing algorithms through using modern signal processingtechniques. Pulse signal de-noising based on wavelet transform is proposed for lack ofhardware filtering. Hilbert-Huang Transform(HHT)algorithm is applied to the analysis ofpulse signal. Each component of the modal energy empirical mode decomposition be studied,and the concept of modal energy was provided.The applicability of the values of K has been proved. The clinical hypertensive patients’pulse signal has been compared with normal’ on three aspects: the value of K, the ratio ofthe main wave and tidal waves and modal energy providers. The results show that there arebig differences between the healthy and hypertensive patients on the modal energy providers.And it has a good correlation with the degree of hypertension chord pulse.
