The Design And Implementation Of Web Based Warehouse Logistics Platform

With the developing of Logistics, more and more companies need 3rd Party Logistics Company to support there business not only in good's transportation but storing as well. It is a problem that how to cut down the cost of transportation and storing in order to upgrade the competitive power.The purpose of Web Based Warehouse Logistics Platform is to establish a sharing information platform to share and manage the logistics commands and stock information among the Logistics Company, Owner of the Goods and the User. It can cut down the cost of information exchanging, upgrade the exactitude for information transfer and reduce the possibility of human errors during the logistics process to enhance efficiency.There are several key tech knowledge in this system which can keep the platform beat the target. First is the Information Splitting technique for Logistics Company Goods owner and User. To support this function, Logistics Company, Goods owner and User are desiged by 3 object models which contains different logistics and stock info. When giving logistics order or stocking in-out, the information will be auto split by system in order that the information will be shared more safely.Second is Goods Label Remote Print technique. The technique can solve the problem that is how to use only several printers to accomplish the print task for whole platform in one time. We should install a pc client on the workstation pc which is connected to printer and the client will watch the Database if there are print commands recently. If exists, the client will explain the commands and make the printer to print labels. It will meet the needs of remote label printing.Last is the Stock Quantity Real Time Management technique. This is one of the key technique in stock management for this platform. It can make the stock quantity be managed more exactly. In database, we use multi-table-view to manage Order Info, Stock in Info,Stock out Info and Stock Info. System UI is also be designed more friendly to show these information.Besides these, Web Based Warehouse Logistics Platform also contains other important techniques, Such as 2D Barcode tech, RFID tech, Wifi/GPRS 2-way Data Transfer tech, to help the goods management. During the test run, some function of the system were enhanced and improved.
