Research And Design On Teaching Video Resource Repository Based On Browser/Server Model

Along with the rapid development of modern information technology and network technology, the society and life in all areas have been widely applied. As the important part of the informationize and networked construction on education, the teaching resource repository can make full use of modern information technology advantage, process digitizedly the high-quality teaching resources, share with the situation between multimedia computer and Internet, arouse students' autonomous learning and innovation seminars, and encourage teachers to change their teaching concepts and reform teaching methods. As a whole, it can play a very important role in deepening the education teaching reform, achieving all-round quality education and education modernization.This paper studies teaching video resource repository platform based on Browser/Server model, through the application of modern system function modular development pattern, being built on Browser/Server(B/S) model for three-layer system structure and taking advantage of the dynamic web site technology and web technology, database technology and other advanced information technology. With the teaching video resource repository platform, we can digitizedly process the existing huge amounts of high-quality teaching video resource materials, then we organize, classify, deposit and manage the materials according to the subject and materials for the type. Thus that we can ensure teaching video resource normative, scientific, authority, developing and safety, and on this premise, to the greatest degree,we can achieve such service functions as high-quality teaching video resource sharing and extending, and the communication and interaction between teachers on students.This paper discusses in six different chapters. Chapter I outlines the significance, objectives, the development status of the research, and content. Chapter II expounds the theoretical and technological basis on the teaching video resource repository platform based on Browser/Server model. Chapter III introduces the overall designs and application functions on teaching video resource repository platform based on Browser/Server model, respectively from the platform overall designs, platform application functions, materials and database designing and developing are discussed. Chapter IV explains in detail the design implement of application functions on teaching video resource repository platform based on Browser/Server model including the design implement and application examples of all the application functions, and key technology using in the platform implement. Chapter V gives the methods of operation, testing, maintenance, expansion and application of platform design implement. Finally we summarize up the research results in the last chapter, together with putting forward the unfinished research work on network teaching video resource repository platform in the future.
