Analyze And Design Of The Management System For The National Higher Education Entrance Examination

Existing management systems can not fully meet the requirements of National Collage Entrance Examnation (NCEE) in technical scope and development level. Firstly, usages of these systems are limited because they are customized by individula demands, not from mathematic model. Secondly, advanced development components, like PowerBuilder, Visual Basic, Java or even C++, are used in these systems. On the other hand, traditional destop databases, such as FoxBase, FoxPro are popular in old management systems. Poor interface are costing management dearly in terms of lost efficiency. Thirdly, with the rapid development of video technologies, including PC camera with max resolution of 768x576 and USB 2.0 high speed interface, it is possible to develop mobile management system with viedo support. Taking above mentioned factors into consideration, we develop a general management system for NCEE and use standard APIs to control high resolution PC camera.This thesis analyzes the processing requirements of management system for NCEE, redesign system architecture, and develop examnation management system and general applications for high resolution PC camera.After using traditional tools like Dbase and FoxBase in 1980s, Microsoft Visual FoxPro is a new excellent platform for desktop database and management, and is widely appliedin examnation management systems since 1990s. The latest version 9.0 of Visual FoxPro is used in our management system development.C++ is the first choice of driver development. We use Visual C++ 6.0 for compatibility with Microsoft operation system series (Windows 2000, Windows 2003, Windows XP and Windows Vista). Our code can be compiled under Visual C++.Net 2003 and 2005 as well.
