Along with the development of the technology of communication, it influnces every aspects of our lives.The communication cables spread all over the world with power lines.People are focuses on how to keep electric power high voltage from invading in the communication cable and how to guard the safety of the communication cable in the engine room of commnication equipment.A Centralized Monitoring System for the Main Distribution Frame adopt three level distributed net to build its own networks.It consists of the workstation based on PC in the centralized monitoring room,intelligent supervisor and artificial sensor.When the Main Distribution Frame is broke down,the artificial sensor can detect the great power invasion ,line alarm,cable breakdown in time.The information of these alarm events can be transmitted to the workstation based on PC in time.And the information of these alarm events can be transmitted to the workers who maintain the equipment by means of short letter ,pager,speech through the workstation.The workers can locate the line pair and fix it.The main research work concentrates on the design and implementation of the intelligent supervisor of this system.The intelligent supervisor mainly includes these items below:the RS485 serial bus communication module,the parameter of environment monitoring module(temperature,humidity,the density of smoke) and Ethernet communication module.The ARM microprocessor make every functional modules work in accordance with each other.We use SP485R to implement the function of RS-485 serial bus communication.There are four hundred devices communicating on the serial bus at the same time.In the design of the circuit of this module,we make the intelligent supervisor don't transmitted false code to the net when it start up by means of inhibition.In the software design of the RS-485 serial communication,the application protocol is the inquiring in rotation.In the design of the monitor module of parameters of environment,we use the digital humidity&temperature sensor to supervise the humidity and temperature in the engine room in real-time.In the software design of this module,we use the GPIO interface ofS3C4510B to simulate the two wire serial communication.And this strategy solve the problem of incompatance with the standard two wire serial bus interfaces,such as I2C bus,SPI bus etc.The gas sensor ,JTY-LZ-F732,and A/D converter ADC0809 are used to design the monitor submodule of density of smoke.Because of the built-in Ethernet controller of S3C4510B,we use RTL8201 to implement the function of Physical Layer.And then I design and implement a TCP/IP stackā€”uIP to implement the function of communication based on Ethernet.After completing related design and test of the whole system, we simulate some usual breakdowns and the results of the test indicates that each part of the system work very well.The performance of the real-time work of the system is better than that of the similar system designed with 8051 microcontroller. And it is also expanded very well.Above all, the whole system can fulfill the demand of the remote automatica management of the equipment for the telecommunication company.
