Semantic Web for the expansion of the existing World Wide Web, with a complete architecture. The ultimate goal of the Semantic Web is to make network resources can include semantics, so that the computer automatically facilitate the understanding and treatment, to facilitate human-computer interaction. For this purpose, semantic web technology is being recognized more and more researchers and research. Semantic Web for data storage and query is a new revolution. The relationship between ordinary relational database model and SQL query language, in the Semantic Web is RDF data model and query language semantics, such as SPARQL replaced. These changes, once achieved, the efficiency of the database storage and query the accuracy and recall is the first increase.As the world economy and rapid development of international trade, international shipping industry to evolve rapidly, in order to improve service levels, enhance competitiveness, the shipping companies to fully understand the importance of information technology. How to build an efficient shipping information system, as the shipping enterprises to improve their core competitiveness of enterprises into focus. Shipping information complexity, huge features, shipping information system for the existing proposed a huge test. Information systems in the existing shipping routes, container and other inquiries of the recall and precision rates poorly, can only generate simple reports. The shipping industry has been unable to keep up the pace of development, can not meet the requirements for the information query. Thus, semantic web technology in the maritime application of information systems is particularly important.Semantic Web data stored in the database, and the Semantic Web query language, query processing and query efficiency has been the focus of current research. In this paper, the shipping information, for example, first introduced the RDF data model, RDF triples using the shipping information to define the concept of the relationship between concepts and their values.
