Design And Implementation Of The Shipping Information Platform For Jinjiang Shipping Group

The rapid growth of the third party logistics market, driven by the rapid development of the logistics industry, logistics costs in China generally accounted for the proportion of GDP is increasing day by day, the status of shipping in logistics is more and more important. It is necessary to establish a Shipping Information Platform. This system can acquisite and process information, show information analysis, marketing information management, this platform can set these three functions as a whole. It provides a logistics information platform for the shipping company and the logistics enterprise.The core of the Shipping Information Platform is the transmission of information, it's main service content is the transmission of information. So who is the information consumption group, who is the information source group and how to choose the appropriate groups are the three problems to be solved by establishment of the Shipping Information Platform. We use words to describe the functions of the Shipping Information Platform:it can define a complete logistics process, collect information from existing business systems, make the process run, record the currently running process instances, set reminders for the critical events, the type of reminder includes event what is occuring, event what is occurred and event what will occur. The Shipping Information Platform also can define exception for the critical events, system will automatically check the process instance. When system finds exception, it can send a reminder to the customer from email or SMS.This paper mainly expounds the development process of the Shipping Information Platform. The system provides online tracking of bill of lading (query), logistics key information timely collection, automatically sent the events that have occurred to the designated mailbox. The overall framework of the project uses the three layer architecture. We implement client and business layer of the application by Delphi, design database by Oracle, web development by jsp servlet. At present, the software system has been formally launched, customer's effect is good, the entire system has been officially opened, the current state is stable.
