With the rapid development of modern industry and society, a large number of special containers are now more and more widely used to contain some dangerous chemical material in our life. The production and personal safety problems float into our line of sight, which are caused by chemical danger containers in their production, transportation and use. Consequently, the problem, how to design chemical danger management system with high efficiency and reliability, convenient operation and reasonable cost has been widespread concerned in business and academia gradually.Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is a rising tendency of Automatic Equipment Identification (AEI), which has even been praised to be one of the top ten most significant technology of the 21st century. After the problem of high cost and standard establishment being solved by the interrelated science technology and by the advantaged policy enacted by governments around the world in recent years, RFID is applied into mass broad fields, such as manufacture automatization, telecom, traffic, intelligent safe-guard system and so on. The actuality of chemical danger management is introduced and the characteristic of existing management project is analyzed in this thesis. And then an integrated and efficient chemical danger containers management system based on RFID is designed and realized. By the communication between the RFID Reader-Writer and the tag, the management system can track, trace back the chemical danger containers supply chain in circulation and provide its real-time information, such as its position, owner, material in it, production-time, period of validity. etc. The use of this management system can solve the information gathering process lack of timely issues, poor accuracy, low efficiency and strong human intervention existing in traditional management system.In this thesis,the main job is divided into four parts: Firstly, The common concept of the RFID, the classification and the basic working principle of RFID system are explained chiefly. Secondly, a chemical danger management system based on RFID is developed, involves the composition of RFID system, the contactless IC card which choose Mifare one S50, the framework introduction of Reader-Writer. The contactless IC card international standard ISO/IEC14443 protocol and the way to implement the Reader-Writer are in-depth analyzed in this part. Thirdly, the hardware of Reader-Writer system is discussed in detail. This part includes the choosing of MCU and RFID module chip(LM3S811, MF RC522), the interface between MCU and RFID chip, the extended function modules(serial communication, wireless communication, LCD) , hardware circuit design. Fourthly, the software of Reader-Writer system is developed in order to realize the operation of Mifare one IC card, such as request card, anticollision, select card, read card and write card.At last, all the work are summarized and a research prospect of the subject in future is promised .
