Logistics Management system uses a hierarchical modular design, Each module can be split and combined according to customer requirements to meet the individual needs of our customers tailor-made system, to achieve functional maximum of the information systems with the least investment. Logistics management system is the best solution suited to the requirements of different logistics System design uses a standard client,server, database of three layer structure, fully meet the requirements of modern e-commerce applications.Due to industry characteristics, The traditional operation of Logistics transport enterprises is complex, many documents. The competition becomes increasingly fierce. more and More information problems emerge. for example:on one hand, to continue to develop the customer market, to have a more comprehensive understanding the customer's basic information, goods distribution, contact preferences and contact information. on the other hand, it is necessary for good financial work to ensure the freight payment on time, debt to be clear. The past practice of looking up the thick documents is clearly undesirable. More effective solution must be taken. At the same time the speed of collection and processing of information, information accuracy, security, also affects the company's management level and the overall decision-making on the overall business control and coordination. Using computer software to solve the above problem is an effective approach.Logistics management software, is based on logistics transport business process, to link various types of data to form an organic system, making the business, financial and market information to be able to quickly and easily delivered, and Various generated reports can be submitted to the functional and decision-making departments.Application of logistics management software system can not only save manpower, reduce the errors, reply the customer quickly from the computer information, but also help decision makers to adjust business strategy, improve the company's fame and enhance the competitiveness.The logistics information technique is the application of the modern information technique in logistics' works, which is an extremely important area of logistics modernization. Logistics management system is the foundation of enterprise information system. And it is also the base of enterprise information and the subsystem of logistics information processing system. The traditional logistics management system mainly includes four modules, such as user management, sell management, warehouse management and transportation scheduling. However, these modules are inconveniently edited,transplanted and shared. In this thesis, the Microsoft SQL Server 2000 as database server and the Delphi as development tool were adopted. The logistics management system based on CVS module is composed of four modules:user management, sell management, warehouse management and transportation scheduling. Each module can be added, deleted, modified, searched and audited. Furthermore, owing to the expandability and powerful transplantable capability of the system, it is possible to provide more applications for the future expansion of the logistics management systems. The system not only establishes the fast key of menu, but also provides the toolbar the same as windows' for user's conveniences. It is convenient for users to operate and greatly enhanced the level of human of the system. Besides, it includes many class of data-protect and right-control so that users'data can be maintain correct and complete at any time. Altogether, the system basically fulfills with the need of material stream's management and also provides a better platform for future expansion. These will certainly achieve the better economic and social benefits.
