The emergence and development of culture industry of Frankfurt School theory is one of the most important theoretical results in the twentieth century, this theory denies and criticizes the culture industry. However, Culture industry as a worldwide popular culture trend, has dominated the mail role of the culture development, which is a undisputed historical fact. The theory which simply denies and criticizes the culture in traditional culture industry theory limited to special history condition, has lost the historical timeliness. The development of the culture industry is a unavoidable result of the marketing economy, it leads the people to rebound from values to Humanities spirit. With the development of the culture value, especially under the new media context, the argument between the culture industry theory and culture industry has arrived the peak.The new media context has endowed the culture industry a new era character, and refreshes the theory of culture industry of critique theory of Frankfurt School. The new media and the culture industry combine and play a leading role for development of the traditional culture industry. Under the huge thrust of the new media, the culture industry development has appeared the new development trend and some problems.Under the new media context, there is huge differences between the realistic context of the culture industry and the theoretical context of the Frankfurt school culture industry theory. So we need to review the Frankfurt school culture industry theory in the new context, and extend it on the basis of deep analysis and theoretical meaning and limitation, construct a new theoretical mold for the development of the culture industry in the new media context, to solve the several value conflicts appearing in the development of the culture industry in the new media context.The research shows, the development of the culture is a historic necessity, especially under the new media context, we need to lead the reasonable healthy development of the culture. The deep meaning and limitation of the Frankfurt School culture industry theory is existing objectively and undeniable, it still has a positive meaning to guide the culture industry in the new media contexts.
