Strain measurement technique is a very important method of studying the mechanical strength and mechanical structure, it has a very important role in the development of automatic control, automatic test, ensuring reliable operation of the equipment and the design theory. The stress and strain can be measured through the technology of strain measurement and analysis, then analyzes the stress state of the components which is measured, determine the extent of their reliability, validate the design, get the load spectrum of the device. This subject completes the design of wireless strain measurement system through the use of wireless data communication technology and sensor technology.In this system, the transmission of the strain data using the technology of the wireless communication, it solve the traditional testing methods because the large number of cable causing the test is difficult, inefficient and difficult to use in particular collector assembly and test personnel close to the parts of the test is not easy issues. The single data transceiver RF chip nRF9E5 is used as the core of the system, a high performance core of the 8051 MCU is integrated in it, it achieves the acquisition of the strain data and data transfer within a short distance through the use of the wireless data transceiver technology and sensor technology. There are two parts in the system, they are the collector and transmitter of the strain data and the receiver of the strain data, the data communication between them is completed by the wireless data communication technology. The main function of the collector and transmitter of the strain data is the collecting and transmitting of the strain data, the main function of the receiver of the strain data is the receiving and processing of the strain data.On the basis of in-depth study on components working principle and data communication, this paper carries out systematic circuit design and gives out the system's electric connection schematics and PCB diagram, and manufactures the system material object. To validate the system's overall performance, the reliability of wireless data transmission and test accuracy, carry on the system performance calibration and obtain the sensitivity and linearity of the system, then use the laboratory gear box drive shaft device to conduct the gear box input shaft strain test experiment, and collects real-time strain voltage signal, finally, we get the strain signal of the input shaft of the gear box through MATLAB processing, show that the system can accurately test the changes of the strain, and verifies the accuracy and reliability of wireless communications. The system of the wireless strain measurement is simple, low cost, small size, low power consumption, the reliability of the transmission, wide range of applications.
