Distributed interactive simulation is one kind of synthesized environment which utilizeconsistent standards. And in this environment,all kinds of simulators distributed acrossmultiple locations are connected with each other through network, and users can interact withthesesimulators. Nowadays, this technologyis oneofthefocuses inthesimulationfield.AndHigh Level Architecture (HLA) is the main development direction. However, with thesimulation technology expanded into high-tech fields like aerospace, information, biology,and advanced manufacture, etc. in recent years, the scale and structure of the simulationsystem become more and more enlarged and complicated. At the same time, the simulationapplicationshaveraisedhigherrequirementofthesimulationenvironment.As the most popular standard of distributed interactive simulation, the HLA/RTI hassomedeficiencyinthewayofdevelopmentandalsoinitsownstructure,butthereisnobettersimulation framework which can replace HLA/RTI. As the main stream, the HLA/RTI willlastforalongperiod,so theoptimizingofHLA/RTIbecomesonekindof importantresearchcontent.Firstly, the main features of HLA framework and the technology principle of the maincomponent is researched in the thesis detailedly. Secondly, the thesis analyzes the detaildevelopment and operation process of simulation application based on HLA, and then theoperationprincipleofRTIisresearched. Lastly,themerit anddemeritofHLA/RTIsimulationplatform are summarized. Based on the above analysis, with a view towards to helpingdevelopertoreducetheunderstandingdegreetosimulation platform,reducingthecomplexityand difficultyof the simulation application development, and improving the usability of RTI,the optimum proposal of HLA framework is put forward: integrate the interface functions which developers use with the technologyof encapsulation, and redefine the group of relatedservice.Furthermore,thethesiselaboratesthedesignmentalityandimplementationmethodofthe optimum proposal. At the last of the thesis, for validating the effectiveness andapplicability of the optimum proposal, the thesis has designed and implemented an exampleof simulation applications. This application has complete logic structure, and it uses mostservices which are provided by the optimum proposal. So the application systematicallyvalidates the entire structure. Its good operation results prove the feasibility of the optimumproposal, and its whole development process proves that the optimum proposal achieves theaims of reducing the complexity of the simulation application development, and improvingtheefficiencyofsystemdevelopment.
