Wind profiler is a kind of clear air radar, which takes atmospheric turbulence as main detecting object.In the past few decades, wind profile radar spectral data processing mainly focus on the wind spectrum estimation. In recent years, with the use of wind profiler radar data expansion, there are increasingly high demand for the atmosphere back to the Doppler spectral width and echo power, Doppler frequency shift of data accuracy, but because of ground clutter and external noise, flying objects, the presence of disturbances such as precipitation and the limitations of Fourier transform method itself, especially in the low-mode spectrum in the back, there are often multiple peaks overlap phenomenon, which make difficult to the judge of the spectral moments, and resulting in large error detection products.Especially in the case of precipitation, wind speed measured even completely wrong, the wind profile radar detection of wind and weather conditions are closely related, so under different weather conditions, the radar power spectrum of access to the data for further processing is in need especially in the spectrum of atmospheric turbulence, precipitation particle spectrum and noise spectrum, and other areas of the peak spectrum for a study to establish an effective spectral extraction programs to improve the accuracy of spectral moments estimation for wind-field data after the inversion, thereby enhancing the wind profile accuracy of radar detection, to ensure that our wind profile radar net will work into business applications as soon as possible.This article analyzes the case of precipitation radar wind profiler spectral data characteristics and spectral data processing algorithm associated processes and described system, and part of the algorithm is improved, In terms of ground clutter suppression, an improved wind profile radar ground clutter suppression method is proposed based on the conventional means of analyzing filtering algorithm, results shows that the method has in good effect, For the problem of product data lack of credibility and reliability, This paper analyzes the case of atmospheric turbulence, precipitation and other aspects of echo recognition algorithms, and try to will be based on orthogonal polynomial least squares algorithm is applied to wind profiler radar wind spectrum recognition. This article algorithm processing result and the conventional method processing result makes the contrastive analysis, the results shows that this algorithm is an effective solution to the problem of low reliability of the product.Finally, according to the actual detection data, Analysis of the statistical properties of the radar noise power, SNR, data acquisition, that is the three main indicators of wind profile radar.
