The Analysis Of Video Conference System Based On IPv6

With the development of,network, people are no longer satisfied with simple voice and text for instant messaging.We hope to have a new style of communication, in which video, audio, text and other multimedia information is supported. In that case, the video conference systems are more and more expected by us. As technology matures, many video conferencing systems have been developed by the companies in china and abroad, after a long period of development, the conferencing systems have become an indispensable communications tools in many major companies and enterprises. However, the main video conferencing systems are based on hardware, so that the price is always expensive, so software-based video conferencing systems become popular.In recent years, technology of IPv6 is mature; it provides the soil of Software-based video conference system growth. The Focus of the paper is to design and research a kind of video conference system which is adoption of IPv6 technology. In this system, the users send the multimedia stream to servers by using clients, while servers collecting the multimedia information from one of the clients and send to other clients in the multicast group. The paper analyzed in the following several aspects.(1) Analyzed the problems of the current IPv4 network by studying related technology. Proposed a video conference system based on IPv6 network solutions.(2) Described some of the key technologies used in video conference system, involves IPv6, SIP signaling mechanisms and RTP/RTCP protocol. The paper introduced the methods of libraries which achieve the common protocol, such as oSIP and jrtplib.(3) Research on key technologies, according to the needs of the entire video conference system, Divide the whole system into three parts which are signaling server, media server and client.(4) Set up the IPv6 environment in Windows XP. Using Windows Socket Programming in IPv6 network environment, combining with the system model which has been designed, complete all parts of the IPv6 video conference system.
