Design And Implementation Of Poultry House Environmental Monitoring System

With the development of electronic technology, the automation and intelligent of poultry house environmental monitoring and control equipments is increasing fast. However, most of them are built on wires, which are cumbersome and limit the mobility. So, the wireless monitoring system which has been implemented is designed for poultry house environment in the dissertation. For the wireless monitoring system, the progress of RF circuits and low-power circuits is the premise; rapid development of digital communications and digital modulation techniques are the foundation. Meanwhile, Semiconductor technology, communication technology and computer technology are promoting the generation and rapid development of the wireless sensor network technical. Compared to traditional wired, it is better in real time, mobile and flexible, even lower cost.The temperature, humidity, NH3 and CO2 are more important parameters than others, which produce a great influence to the growth of livestock. According to the data form and characteristics, the wireless monitoring system used IA4432 as transceiver chip is designed. For single point-to-multipoint communication, a small wireless transmission network is built, and network topology is designed, the appropriate medium access control protocol, hidden nodes strategies, mistake retransmitted mechanism and low-power solution are put into use. The performance is improved during making hardware and programming software, for instance Anti-interference is used in making PCB board. The modular design scheme is utilized to design hardware and software. PC monitoring interface is used to real-time display, conserve the monitoring data and describe curve.The wireless monitoring system of poultry house environment has low-cost, low-power, high universality and strong anti-interference, which can monitor various signal, still can easily applied to others monitoring areas.
