On-line E-Learning Platform For Citizens

The application of modern information technologies in education is one important characteristic and inevitable trend of current lifelong education. Especially, the development and application of networks help learners shake off constraints with place, time, and manner for learning are regarded and play an irreplaceable huge role in developing individual self-oriented lifelong learning ability, modern distance education, informal and informal form of lifelong education.In order to better improve citizen quality and life quality and provide citizens lifelong education opportunities for self learning and self assessment. This paper constructed a B/S based E-Learning online Learning platform for citizens.The object of online E-Learning platform for Citizens is to integrate high-quality teaching resources, to research lifelong Learning mode, and to construct electronic learning documents for millions of citizens. Learning efficiency of citizens is improved by online assessment. Obstacle-free learning opportunities are provided by the zone for special group. With static page template technology and static webpage generation technology, the complexity of pages and server pressure are reduced, making easy operation of websites and easy maintenance of content.The main work of this thesis is as follows:1. The state of the arts of the application of E-learning in domestic and international lifelong learning was investigated. And the design ideas of E-Learning and the framework of E-Learning platform were analyzed.2. E-Learning platform was analyzed and modules were reasonably divided on the basis of requirement analysis. 3. The design and implementation process of the E-Learning platform for citizens was given, including online examination and evaluation function and obstacle-free zone for the disabled.4. Under the framework of Struts2+Spring+Hibernate, the front end webpages and background end database operation were implemented.This platform was completed and reached our original design goals after a period of trial run.
