This project aims to design wireless sensor network for smart home systems, wireless sensor network hardware node and related applications are designed to monitor home situation, such as water meter, electric meter, gas meter and household machine. The sink node is designed to complete the overall system control between the PC and the host machine. Meanwhile, the server program in PC can be designed to achieve remote access support.This project starting from the hardware node design, RF chip CC2430-based, analog electronic circuits and digital electronic circuit are used to achieve the design of hardware principles. A large number of experiments are designed to improve system functions in the design process. Meanwhile, two edition of wireless sensor network node hardware are designed to improve the reliability of system. Some applications, such as Power control, digital display, pulse signal acquisition, download, RS-232 communication and relay control are achieved in the first version of the wireless sensor network node hardware system. Other applications, such as analog-digital conversion, RS-485 communication, digital temperature sensor acquisition, buzzer control, LED indicator array control, key input and potentiometer voltage acquisition are added in the second edition of the wireless sensor network node hardware system. The second edition of the hardware system was selected as the laboratory "Zigbee Teaching Experiment Board".Embedded Software is designed in parallel with hardware design. IAR Embedded Workbench for MCS-51 Integrated Development Environment is used to design embedded Software. It is a high-precision, multi-function embedded development tools, high-efficiency driver can be designed through its function modules. The support of embedded software is needed in the implementation process of smart home systems. In the design process, the debugging between hardware and software is needed to achieve the effective implementation of the features and the reliability.LabWindows/CVI 9.0 is used to design the PC software. It is an ANSI C development environment in test and measurement field. Production efficiency for engineers can be greatly improved through the use of this software.Smart Home Management System PC software is designed to achieve the control and the communication between the host computer and Sink node. Meanwhile, application installation package can be generated through LabWindows/CVI 9.0 integrated development environment; this application installation package can be installed in different types of PC.
