Research And Design Of Smart Home System Based On ZigBee Technology

There is a lack of strict standards and common interfaces between various smart home systems at present, and the specific application of smart home has not been widely used until now with the constraints of current technical conditions and economic costs. So how to design a smart home system with the features of high efficiency, low cost and good scalability has certain significance in the promotion of smart home.Firstly, the research background, significance and development of smart home at home and abroad were outlined in this paper. Then several common wireless communication technologies were compared and ZigBee technology based on IEEE802.15.4 was chosen as the networking technology within smart home. The architecture and operational processes of ZigBee protocol stack were analyzed, which laid the foundation for further development of smart home.The design of smart home system were proposed, including network topology, system function and design requirements. The internal network of smart home was designed based on ZigBee technology. With the introduction of binding mechanism, various functions can be configured and implemented. Designing smart home gateway based on S3C2440, building the embedded web server Boa and transplanting 3G module. On this basis, this paper implements communications of smart home networks based on ZigBee technology, the Internet and telecommunication network. In this smart home system, you can not only control home appliances by the man-machine interface, but also conduct remote inquiry and control through logging on to the smart home web pages.Experiments show that the smart home system designed in this paper based on ZigBee technology has the characteristics of diverse communication and excellent scalability,which achieved the expected goals.
