Optical network had been used for the transmission of high capacity voice business. Now, it is not only be used to transmit voince business, but also be used to transmit data bussiniss. Therefor it introduced new problems. It is difficult to manage large-scale dynamic optical network, and the current network management system can not solve the problem completely. ITU-T proposed the concept of ASON (Automatically Switched Optical Network) in 2000, isolating the control plane from the original management plane of transmission network and introducing various network protocols to control plane to make each node has the automatic control function of connecting. The automatic control of network connection can reduce the complexity of network management and enhance the dynamics and expansibility of the network. In addition, because of the sudden growth of data business, the exchange sizes of the transmission network increase gradually, from original VC level to wavelength level. IETF standard organization proposed WSON (Wavelength exchange Optical Network) in this premise, which is the ASON based on WDM transmission network. This paper researched WSON control plane routing module when considering physical impairments under wavelength consistency based on key technological problems of WSON and developed simulation software to validate the proposed optimization model, algorithm and strategy. The major work and contributions are as follows:1. We proposed the extension methods of protocol packets based on OSPF in WSON and designed the packets format to achieve the goal of flooding of physical impairments.2. We developed the codes of Routing Module based on the requirements of centralized WSON network and built WSON experimental platform with other modules together to validate the flooding of physical impairments and test the convergence time.3. Adopted LZ78 compression algorithm to compression the information of control plane in centralized structure. This is an effective solution to solve the flooding problem of excessive physical impairments. The solution has been carried out in the WSON experimental platform.
