As an important entrance of mobile Internet, mobile browser has a huge amount ofusers. Being limited to its single attribute of tool, the user activity of mobile browserstays at a low degree. With the rise of mobile sociality in recent years, the socialityrequirement of the mobile Internet users is obvious. Combining mobile sociality withmobile browser to build a mobile social browser will make a new increment to mobilebrowser. In the meanwhile, it’s very necessary to provide a safe mechanism to aim atbrowsing social networks, which is very personal. The study and implementation of social browser will be separated into three parts. The first part is the implementation of a basic mobile browser based on the WebKitkernel. The second part is the integration of social networks mobile SDK toimplement the social functions on mobile browser. The third part is the study andimplementation of the website address detection mechanism against the attack of highrisk websites, which is common during social networks browsing. As an open-sourced browser engine, WebKit is a layout engine software componentfor rendering web pages, the basis of the social browser. The mobile SDK of socialnetworks then is the tool to implement the achievement of social network posts andsocial functions. The website address detection mechanism keeps the social networksbrowsing safe, also the mechanism is optimized in consideration of the properties ofmobile device。Based on the analysis of the requirements of social browser, the thesis makes a detailed design with the methods of software engineering and implements on iOSplatform. During the developing progress, the social experience of mobile browser isimproved with the optimization aimed at mobile sociality.
