Research On Ontology Evolution Of TSDO And Implement Of Semantic Reasoning Service

With the application and development of convergent network platform consisted of Internet and Telecom network, it's a trend to utilize intelligent agent to aggregate services and resources distributed in different networks, and then realize the business intelligentization. The capability of telecommunications network services have been opened through the Parlay X. Now Telecom network's service is not only versatile, but the number of services to implement the same function is also large. Obviously, these different services can provide differentiated user experience to customers, then how to better semanticize service and user requirements, model Telecom Service Domain Ontology (TSDO), make the computer really understand the "meaning", choose the service best meets the user requirements, is in a hurry problem.Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications State Key Laboratory of Networking and Switching developed TSDO and made a great try in semanticizing telecommunications services, but the application requirements and domain knowledge are constantly changing, TSDO obviously can not adapt to the application of updated changes, we need to perform evolution update in TSDO. This paper is carried out in this. First, we investigated the telecom ontology developed by SIMS project, compared it with TSDO and draw some proposals to TSDO evolution. Then we made a deep discuss to the key issues involved in the process of domain ontology and a domain ontology evolution method based on application requirements was proposed, the evolution of TSDO was also implemented in this method; Finally, we designed and implemented a semantic reasoning service to verify the validity of TSDO evolution and also show the advantage of semantization.The evolution from Non-semantic Web to Semantic Web will be a gradual process, the proposed domain ontology evolution method based on application requirements are a significant exploration to this program. At the same time, we realized a semantic reasoning service, which demonstrated the value of semantics, and made good attempts to business personalized and intelligence.
