With the development of Digital Technology and the integration of three networks, IPTV technology is being widely used.TS stream, as the key technology of IPTV, also gets more and more attention. TS is a data stream which defined in ITU-T Rec H220,ISO/IEC DIS 13818-2 and ISO/IEC 13818-3,and aims to transport one or multiple programs under the environment which may happen serious error. As the requirement of diversity and high quality of program, in order to transport more and higher quality programs, the multiplexing and Re-multiplexing of TS program seem to be very important.The development of multiplexing and Re-multiplexing technology will make the efficient use of bandwidth and channel possible.The paper has make deep research about TS technology, also study the syntax of ES,PES and TS. The paper also make wide and deep research about PSI information which may use in Re-multiplexing.We focus the research on TS's multiplex and Re-multiplex.First of all,we will introduce the system level specification about MPEG-2.After study the theoretical knowledge of TS in MPEG-2, Focused on solving audio sync,video sync and the synchronization of video and audio which are the difficulty in multiplexing.During the Re-multiplexing, we focused on solving the extraction and reconstruction of PSI information and correct the PCR. Try to decide themultiplexing order according to the relation of DTS and PCR is a difficulty point in Multiplexing. The correction of PCR is the key point in Re-multiplexing.The paper also have in-depth study about flow control.For TS/UDP pattern, we use SBPCR method to send TS package and achieve good result.This method applys for CBR and VBR. For TS/RTP/UDP Pattern, we use the smooth RTP adaptive flow control algorithm combined with the SBPCR method to send TS package.The achievement of this paper is that adding the TS sender module and TS Multiplexer Module to Darwin Streaming Server which then can be used in DVB system.This server can send the TS stream by unicast and multicast.In terms of flow control, we implement the SBPCR algorithm, and make research and simulation for TS/RTP/UDP pattern.In follow-up study, we will try to add the TS/RTP/UDP pattern to the Streaming Server and make the server more common.
