The Set-Up Of Streaming Media Server Based On Mpeg-Dash Standard And Broadcast Control Optimization

With the development of networktransmission technology and popularization of network access equipments, the services of video are rapidly in demand. However, some of the existing protocols have problems in flexibility of network and device compatibility. For example, RTP/RTSP protocol need for specialized network in firewall and NAT traversals. And some streaming protocols is supported on fixed systems.This is an obstacle for development of streaming media service. MPEG-DASH, which is proposed recently, is an effective solution for these problems.DASH uses HTTP protocol to deliver media contents, so it can effectively adapt to the current network and different terminal devices.DASH also provide an excellent broadcast control mechanism. In this paper, study the implementation mechanism of DASH and related technologies of broadcast control mechanism.This paper proposes and implements a set of support DASH standard video broadcast control systems based on the DASH protocol standards. This system supports live and on-demand video service. It also actualizes DASH streaming media server configuration, the development of players based on DASH and related network control technology of HTTP/TCP protocol.This paper studies the video broadcast control mechanism of DASH protocol.Considering the main factors affecting the DASH broadcast delay, it proposes and implementsthe live broadcast control mechanism that reduces the delay.Considering the unexpected factors in network transmission, this paper also implements and improvesa video stream switching algorithm based on download speeds.
