Internet of Things(IOT) is a dynamic global network infrastructure, which will be together with media Internet, service Internet and enterprise Internet to constitute future internet.Perception layer of IOT used to get all data information of all physical and virtual "object" and provide them to application layer to use. As these data have large scale and their formats are not unified, the application layer has to filter and process data before provide service. In order to control the equipments of perception layer, it also has to face to the underlying architecture directly. So it is difficult to develop the perception layer. For these reasons, "Middleware" has been introduced in IOT. It can be used to filter and process data, so the development of upper application can focus on its services and functions. What's more, upper applications can control the equipment of perception layer by using a group of application program interface which provided by middleware. By using middleware, IOT can achieve the low-coupling between application layer and perception layer. The difficulty and effort of development of application layer can be reduced. At first, the perception layer mainly uses RFID, so the research of middleware mainly focused on IOT which perception layer using RFID technology. With the development of application layer, it will provide more kinds of functions, only one technology used to collect data can not satisfy the requirement. In future, the perception layer of IOT will definitely deploy many kinds of technology to obtain different size of data. In this paper, under the background of "A smart work scene monitor system", I proposed design and implementation solution of middleware in the IOT which perception layer have used RFID technology and ZIGBEE technology simultaneously.First of all, the paper introduces the related concepts and technology of reach subjects, and analyzes status of research about IOT middleware, compare ZIGBEE and RFID in technical characteristics and using scope and point out the necessary of utilize two technologies to collect data. Then, the paper designs the middleware of IOT which based on ZIGBEE and RFID from data stream and process stream two aspects in details. This middleware will provide uniformed data which has low redundant, Error-free and valuable information to upper application, it can reduce the difference because of using different technology to collect data; upper application can connect and control the hardware nodes by using common application program interface which provided by middleware; middleware also uses XML configuration files to guarantee the independence of the middleware. Since then, the paper introduces implementation of these main functions. Finally, analyze and summary the achievements and shortcomings of IOT middleware which based on ZIGBEE and RFID, described the prospects of this technology and its significance.
