Along with the development of information, traditional experimental teaching management system has presented more and more faults, which restricts the reforming of experimental teaching and the laboratory construction. According to the features of experimental management, it is the most important work to build up a experimental management system based on campus network using WEB information technology. Most of the domestic universities and colleges all apply themselves to this research work.There are 5 units,53 laboratories in the experimental center of Jilin medical college and lots of advanced equipments for medicine, chemistry, biology and emulational experimental devices, which can not be matched by the original management mean. Building a uniform flat to manage all the labs, lab assistants, equipments and experimental data has been a necessary solution.In this system, we pay more attention to the collection of experimental data, data analysis and the universal interface program, which make data management and collection roboticized. In this paper, following items are expatiated, including requirement analysis, collectivity design and system implementation.(1) System Analysis and Collectivity DesignWe prompt the requirement based on investigation in Jilin medical college. Then make the collectivity design, including the system framework and the partition of each function module. The emphases are located on system user management, experimental teaching management, experimental equipment and material management and experimental data management, etc.(2) System Database DesignOOP is used in system database design. Firstly, metadata are identified based on requirement analysis. Secondly, E-R model is designed. In this paper, two important entities such as experimental teaching equipment and experimental teaching assignment are given detailed material explaining.(3) Web fashion of management functionThe system uses three lays Browser/Server structure, which all the functions are showed as Web pages. In this paper, we expatiate the main Web technology in details, so as design of object class and accessing database based on Web.(4) Collection and Analysis of Experimental DataThis part is the innovation of the paper, which is also the keystone. The system uses two connection methods to gather experimental data, which are RS232 and TCP/IP. The data collection program is coded by c++ language. In the design, backbone classes and tool classes are coded respectively and integrated later in order to improve efficiency. Backbone classes form the principal part of data collection program, which takes charge of the initialization of program and port. While the tool class filter the port type, communication protocol and data stream.We use Java to empolder experimental data analysis program. The collection data can be analyzed, then transfer to database and create log at the same time. The analysis program is also distinguished as backbone class and tool class. The backbone class takes charge of initializing interface, identifying collection files and data analysis, backup, etc. The tool class takes the charge of file operation, such as defining file format and building database connection, etc.In this paper, we innovate the laboratory management by researching work of aspe cts above-mentioned.We actively attempt to promote data collection, analysis, conservat ion of the lab, which establishes the foundation for further consummating work.
