| Teacher's professional data management is an important part of scientific research management of vocational colleges. Its main job is that the Scientific Research Department and the relevant departments of our college count regularly the results achieved by teachers. In order to improve the management efficiency and quality of Scientific Research Department and relevant departments in vocational colleges, it is necessary to design a teacher's professional data management system that can collect the information of teachers' outcome online. At present, in the market, there are many systems in this area, but they are not in keeping with the actual situation of our college. Therefore, my unit starts to develop a teacher's professional data management system which aims at the actual situation of scientific research department in our college. I mainly participate in the research and development of the system.With the widespread use of Internet, the way people process information is changing. A lot of work to be done manually in the past can be done through the network now. In the 21st century, various software development tools continue to mature and improve, which also provide a strong technical support for people to better use the network. The system is web-based platform, using Xml Web Services technology to build the teacher's professional data management system, by which we can collect, classify, count, inquire and release data online and by which we can shorten greatly the time from collecting data to arranging and releasing and improve people's work efficiency and accuracy. The system can realize automation and reduce the workload of academic management departments. At the same time it can allow each teacher to quickly and easily report and inquire about the information on individual business. It can also be treated as supporting materials of scientific research items and excellent courses.(can check online at any time)The system combines B/S with C/S structure, using Xml Web Services technology to build multi-layer distributed application model. It is more suitable in a particular area (campus) to achieve a certain amount of centralized information collection. It also provides local manual operation mode to meet the work demands to collecting information in the poor network environment and ensures the overall reliability of results information. It also ensures the security and stability of data by using excellent SQL Server 2000.This paper takes the development of Teacher's Professional Data Management System in Jilin Technology College of Electronic Information as the background and introduces several parts as the following:1.
