This article bases on the improved design of the united rear axle's box body of tricar that was produced in Wuzheng Group, the technology of CAD/CAE has been used in the field of the development of the united rear axle's box body in allusion to the shortness of the design method and built up the 3-D digital model of box body, and finite element analyze and emulate the static characteristic of box body and modality characteristic. Via contrast to the theory calculation, the results of finite element analysis are in accordance with the actual conditions.This article introduces the research background of the tricar united rear axle structure strength and modal finite element analysis, on base of introducing the real model and Hypermesh analysis software, expounded the general process of the tricar united rear axle box body CAE analysis that our company developed. This article introduces the tricar united rear axle structure characteristics first and analyzes the correlation between the box body structure and other assembly cars components and debates the traditional design important point of box body structure and introduces the research method and meaning of box body strength, and build up the real 3D model of box body and half stalk tube via 3D software of UG; On the base of introducing Hypermesh software, analyzes geometric interface of Hypermesh and CAD software, studies the method of turning 3D UG model to be under Hypermesh environment; regarding the characteristics of box body model, studies general process of cleaning up the box body finite element model, by dint of the line function of Hypermesh software, establish finite element model of complicated product .Debates the general process of finite element analysis of the united rear axle's box body, via analysis of three status of the static tricar under full load and the biggest lead dint under full load and suddenly control under full load, finally determines the borderline condition and load of the finite element analysis of boundary condition, aiming at box body break in the actual application, come to static strength analysis of finite element model under Hypermesh environment, basically grasp the strength characteristic of the original box body, learn about the weak part of box body strength, provides theory basis for the improvement design of the box body.On the basis of introducing modality analysis theory, aiming at the box body that this article studies, solves proper frequency of box body structure 7-10 rank, acquires the modality parameter of the token the united rear axle's box body dynamic state characteristic, and guide a development, design and physically production, obtaines better effect.According to the dint analysis of the united rear axle's box under load broken phenomenon, establish the position ordering box body stress test, after separately doing pressure test of the box body sample before and after structure optimization and gets that the strength of newly box body with structure optimization and loading ability is obviously better than the original box body. Because the outside shape of box body turns inside, the inner wheel gear oil is same to original part, can satisfy lubrication of the wheel gear structure, so the wheel gear oil decrease. In order to make sure whether box body strength and the added wheel gear oil is suitable or not, installs the new box body sample into the car, 7YPJ1450PDX-51, running on the road by carrying 10 tons for two months, its credibility and stability experiences rugged hill path and horary test and shows t that he box body completely meet design and usual requirement.Via this the finite element analysis and optimized structure, on the base of satisfying strength requirement and usability of the united rear axle's box body, the box body weight lights 6.2 kg and the wheel gear oil in gear-box reduces a 2.2 L, saves $83.9 on material and usal cost for each rear axle, according to the output of the ten file rear axle this year, can save $9,223,000 each year, brought company with huge economic efficiency, which also shows big leap of development ability of Wuzheng Group.
