Solar Autonomous Underwater Vehicle is an ideal submarine observation platform. It is playing the vital role in the marine environment three-dimensional monitor system. But the energy question is the main question which limits Autonomous Underwater Vehicle long-distance voyage. This thesis designs a new kind of Solar Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (SAUV).This projects is funded by Shenyang Science and Technology Foundation.Based on the analysis of SAUV principle the thesis gives the design of PV system, the submarine robot kinematics and dynamics model are established. The vector shape is optimal designed. The hydrodynamic force which receives to SAUV on the analysis and the computation, stabilized, the maneuverable analysis and the movement forecast for SAUV has provided the theory basis.The article established mathematical model of PV systems and calculated the amount of available solar energy, it considers other factors on solar panels output characteristic of influence.PV systems is designed to meet the vehicle requirement.Due to launch the solar panels to SAUV hydrodynamic performance of influence, determine the thickness of the pressure shell by using ANSYS simulation. On the basis of preliminary design team of vehicle is optimized. It has established the optimized vehicle hydrodynamic appearance.This article calculation and analysis viscous hydrodynam ics of the vehicle by CFX, through detailed calculation the vehicle hydrodynamic, obtained available to operate the movement simulation and the hydrodynamic coefficient. Additional quality and additional inertia carries on the estimate through the empirical formul.
