In this paper, with the question of supplying power to SAUV, the body of Solar Automobile Underwater Vehicle (SAUV) is analyzed and designed.Firstly, according to the solar radiation in Shen yang and Guang zhou from China's national meteorological administration, the parameters of solar system are calculated and analyzed after organizing the data.Secondly, according to static analysis of SAUV's body, the characteristics of body structure as well as the statics are calculated. Especially, the detailed design and analysis are provided about pressure-tight shell, pitch adjusting system and roll adjusting system, and order and stability of SAUV's body is analyzed.Thirdly, according to the software of ANSYS, deformation and stress of pressure-tight shell are calculated and Shell thickness of SAUV is chosen. By the results of static analysis of SAUV's body, inner structure of SAUV is organized properly so as to guarantee rationality of Weight distribution and process perfect static character.Fourthly, according to the designed body of SAUV, after simplifying the thruster appearance, the 3D model of whole body is analyzed with CFX11.0 to calculate hydrodynamic and its structure is optimized and the perfect SAUV's body is obtained. The data of force of SAUV is acquired to be foundation of vector thrusters of SAUVLastly, according to mechanism motion diagram of vector thrusters of SAUV, dynamics equation of propulsion system is established and the equation is solved by ADAMS so as to acquire the accurate results which could check the kinetic characteristic of vector thruster and satisfy the requirement of locomotion.
