Human steps have entered into the ocean century. The common dream of all over the world is to develop and apply the rich marine resources and control the military. The underwater submersible characteristics decided it will catch countries in the world government’s attention. In recent years, its development research getting better. The underwater submersible has a wide range of uses in military and civilian fields. It has become an irreplaceable necessary tools when human engaged in underwater operations. Because of microminiature submersible have characteristics of low noise, small size, good resistance, low cost, and easy to match production etc that has become the hot spots in the world in many countries of submersibles. This paper chose two rotary body underwater robots as the research object. Among them, we use FLUENT software calculation and analyze the existing submersible first and compare the experimental data to find a more appropriate method of solving the hydrodynamic coefficients. Then according to the two submersible models have a certain similitude, using the same method for solving the hydrodynamic coefficients of the new model and compared to their experimental data and mutual authentication. Finally, according to the underwater robot hydrodynamic performance calculation and test data, evaluation and analysis of the stability and maneuverability of underwater robots horizontal plane and the vertical plane two plane movements. According to building submersibles space motion mathematical model and motion simulation platform we draw the submersible type maneuvering motion simulation curve and analyze the type of underwater robot performance and maneuverability, realize their maneuverability forecast.
