Human being are paying more and more attention to the development and utilization of our oceans. Along with the changes of the development of marine resources and coast defense situation, the region of the utilization of the ocean is expanding. All kinds of underwater vehicle has been rapidly developing.Thus the demand of Autonomous Underwater Vehicle is also increasing gradually.Usually, AUV has to carry the energy while working underwater. There will be a limit of the operation time length and navigating distance.So for supplying the energy, reading the information and maintenance,there requires a recovery of the underwater vehicle. And the effective recovery of underwater vehicle is also an important guarantee for recycling underwater vehicle. Among different kinds of recovery modes,underwater recovery mode has many advantages and causes widespread concerns. Since the environment of underwater recovery process is special, comparing with unbounded basin conditions, when AUV is docking in a recycle device, because of the mutual influence of interference,the latter will cause a complex change in hydrodynamic performance,which is inevitable for this hydrodynamic interference problem.With regard to the problem of study on the hydrodynamic interaction,there are already a lot of mature theory and numerical methods at present. This paper is based on the simulation test of hydrodynamic interference. The main variables of the simulation test are divided into two parts:Changes of AUV’s speed and Changes in the structure of recovery device. The hydrodynamic interference performance is mainly in the difference of AUV’s resistance under the condition of different variables on the navigating direction. Because of the relative motion between AUV and recovery device, hydrodynamic performance is quite different from that in unbounded basin. This paper studies on the comparison of the hydrodynamic interference problems which are discussed above. And on this basis, combining with the interference of current and rudder angle,we get the changing regulation of AUV’s hydrodynamic performance along with the changing of speed and recovery device structure by using the method of numerical simulation,which provides suggestions and reference for the successful docking recovery.
