Remote video surveillance system has been widely used in people's daily lives.With the development of embedded technology, image processing technology and especially the rise of ZigBee technology,video monitoring technology has made new breakthroughs.This system adopt embedded image processing technology,Wi-Fi and ZigBee technology ,and with the help of mobile robot technology,it build a family nework patrol system based on mobile platform,which allow user achieve remote video surveillance and control of home conditions.Firstly,this paper analyses from the perspective of system requirements,including the system functions and the factors to be considered,and then sums up key technologies.It focuses on the ZigBee technology.For hardware design,the system chooses S3C2440A as the kernel of development board,and uses ZC301 USB camara as the video capture device.It also adopts CC2430 as the chip of ZigBee device. This article also describes working principle of the Wi-Fi module, carama holder and small car.For software design,the development system is embedded linux system.we designs a double B/S mode,which achieves a modular design,in order to improve the real-time video transmisson at the same time of ensure the reliability of instruction transmission.The system builds embedded web server and client with the BOA,CGI and Html technology.The video capture module is designed with V4L2 functions.The video image compression is implemented by JPEG compression chip.MJPEG frame is more suitable for further image processing.Network transmission is based on RTP/RTCP real-time transmission technology.Moving target detection is alse added into video image processing module,which adopts background subtraction combined with frame difference. The method combines the merits of the two algorithms to achieve a good detection results.Later in the article provides the system test results. The results show that this system meet the design requirements. At the end of the paper,it gives a summary of the content and represents some problem remaining to be solved.
