Research On High Availability Construction Method Oriented To Banking Business

At the new request of the IT Dept in the headquarter of China Merchant Bank on program development, this paper plans to change the existing application system into three-layer pattern namely the database server-application server-client pattern, combining the existing application system and development planning of China Merchant Bank Beijing Branch. At the same time, the emergency mode of the system must transform into high available automatic switch mode from the exising manual switching between production server backup server.The author of this paper choosing the existing application system, and transforms the sysytem model from C-S structure to database server-application server-client pattern.In database server, we still use the Window server, and move SQL SERVER database to DB2 database, and make client pattern unchanged.In order to fulfill high availability,we selects the storage device-CX3-40 from EMC in storage area according to the actual situation in Beijing Branch. Besides, viewing to AIX operating system and Windows operating system, we use HACMP and MSC to fulfill high availability of the system.After improvement, the system is functioning at the time. With the automatic switch mode, the time of switching less than with manual switching before.
