Since the IEEE802.11 Standard was drawn up, WLAN(Wireless Local Area Network) technology obtained rapidly development in the past decade. In the current era of"post-PC", Embedded technology has been widely penetrated into every aspects of people's daily life.The combination of WLAN technology and embedded technology will have a very broad application prospects.Based on embedded technology and wireless LAN technology, this paper research the development and application of wireless data transmission terminal in the embedded systems and the embedded YLP2410 development board. The main work in this paper includes the network structure design of embedded wireless data transmission terminal, the in-depth study of embedded microprocessor based on ARM technology, the basic architecture of embedded systems, the establishment of development environment and the development of Linux system wireless data transmission terminal driver. This paper implements the successful running on the embedded platform of WL167G ASUS USB wireless card. This paper implements Wireless data transmission between the embedded system and more effectively access the wired network and the Internet.
