With the development of Radar Digital Signal Processing, radar signal processing faces increasingly grim situation and also has more technical choice. FPGAs with large-scale logic resources, are capable of achieving the DSP's corresponding functions to some extent. Moreover, FPGAs have high integration and reliability, but low-cost. Especially in the case of large amount of real-time signal processing, FPGA is more preferable. Therefore, a signal processing systems with excellent Performance and Standard is designed Based on FPGA, consisting of acquisition board and signal processing board. It can implement digital orthogonal demodulation and digital pulse compression of radar signal processing.This paper starts with the principles of digital orthogonal demodulation and pulse compression function, then combined with system features and technical specifications to be reached, puts forward the specific hardware architecture. Separately on the data acquisition board and signal processing board, the design and implementation are illustrated in detail. It also specific hardware circuit design and FPGA's internal implementation structure. Finally, the system is applied to a radar system, and the system measurement is performed to verify the correctness of the system design.
